Point Of View

Empowering rural young people to speak their minds, get their voices heard and make a difference.

Point of View (P.O.V.) is an ongoing project from Rural Media that empowers rural 14-25 year olds in Herefordshire and Shropshire to speak their minds, share their experiences, and drive change.

The project started in 2020 with in-depth conversations with hundreds of young people across Herefordshire, and has grown to more than 2,000 of young people from across the Marches region taking part in creative consultations, gaining leadership qualifications, making films, podcasts and art. Through P.O.V. rural young people are raising their voices, and coming together to create events, artwork and media, to showcase rural youth culture, and influence local decision-makers.

On this site you’ll find the creative content being produced by 14-25 year olds, and more info about the spin off projects that dig deeper into themes and issues chosen by rural young people.
